level, and graduate
programs in both Germanic and Slavic studies;
- personalized and supportive instruction at all levels;
- competence
in the target language of our disciplines and knowledge of them through
the study of language, literature and culture;
- a variety of programs on the undergraduate and graduate
levels that respond to the interests and needs of students and society;
- international exchange and study abroad programs in
Germany, Russia, and Croatia;
- explore
and adopt ways to increase the transfer of applied knowledge and skills
within our disciplines to the practical needs of society;
